Cannock Chase Council's Housing and Building Safety team has been shortlisted for Safety and Compliance Team of the Year at the ASCP Awards 2026.
The award is run by the Association of Safety Compliance Professionals and recognises teams that demonstrate outstanding work in collaboration, innovation, and commitment to improving safety for residents.

Councillor Rhys Mandry, Portfolio Leader for Housing and Corporate Assets, said the nomination reflects the team's dedication to ensuring residents feel safe in their homes and their commitment to continuous improvement.

The awards ceremony will take place on 8 September at the International Convention Centre in Newport.
