A Hednesford marketing business is celebrating its first award after being named Small Business Marketing Solutions of the Year in the Central England Prestige Awards 2026/27.
Red Rose Media & Marketing, run by Penny Gibbs, announced the recognition as the business marked its third anniversary. Gibbs supplied a photograph of herself holding the award certificate.
The independent business works with small businesses in Cannock Chase, including therapy, treatment and wellbeing businesses and charities. Its work includes communications, website content, social media and training.
First award for the Hednesford business
Gibbs said digital marketing began as an interest alongside her communications career before becoming her full-time work. The announcement says she previously spent 16 years working in NHS communications.
“I was shocked when I received the call. To be recognised by the Prestige Awards feels very special,” she said.
She described the result as a milestone for the business, following an earlier finalist place in the Best Digital Marketing Agency category at The UK Small Business Awards.
“Three years on, I’ve built a business I’m really proud of. Winning this award has made me stop and realise how far it has come.”
Gibbs also thanked the clients who had supported the business through projects, recommendations and feedback.
According to the supplied announcement, she is due to receive the award at the Central England Prestige Awards ceremony in May 2027.
